About the USA Pencak Silat Federation (UPSF)
The USA Pencak Silat Federation (UPSF) is a non-profit organization (Tax ID: 46-2518844) dedicated to representing Silat from the Nusantara region, including Indonesia, Malaysia, Brunei Darussalam, and Singapore. As a 501(c)(3), UPSF promotes charitable, educational, and cultural awareness of the martial art of Silat. The organization also supports other nonprofits through charitable giving and outreach.

Tanding Tournament
UPSF held the 2025 Pencak Silat Tanding Tournament on February 23rd, a thrilling showcase of martial arts excellence. Held in a spacious venue in Herndon, the event featured two fully equipped arenas, each managed by experienced judges and digital scoring systems to ensure fairness and precision in every match.
Denny & Wewey
UPSF had the honor of hosting Denny and Wewey, Indonesian Pencak Silat champions whose martial arts prowess and global recognition have brought them to the forefront of their sport. Their journey across the country was packed with seminars, cultural excursions, and profound interactions, leaving an indelible mark on every community they visited.
Indonesian WOW Festival
UPSF members performed Pencak Silat at the WOW Indonesia which a large cultural festival showcasing Indonesian heritage and celebrating the 75th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Indonesia and the United States. The festival, held in Washington D.C., features a variety of Indonesian culture, including food, music, dance, fashion, arts and crafts, and hands-on activities.
